4. Tapping in!! What’s up with tapping anyway?

Its casual name is ‘Tapping’ and its formal name is Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT). By Tapping on specific acupressure points a profoundly relaxing effect is produced and when you pair this with focusing your attention and exploring thoughts and beliefs, it can help shift anxiety, stress and limiting thought patterns. Learn the origins and the core methods of emotional freedom techniques tapping, the key research evidence that has shown that it works, and physiological changes that occur along with perceived relief. We will be doing an exercise together so that you can have an experience of tapping into the thoughts and feelings that are beneath a physical or emotional discomfort and be able to feel some shift towards freedom.

Marg Hux – is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and uses EFT tapping as part of her psychotherapy practice. While working in a corporate environment, Marg found tapping as a way to release stress or physical aches and pains and used this personally and for anyone around who would let her. At a time of big life changes and stress, she dove deeper in learning emotional freedom techniques for emotional growth and healing.
