AH-01 Foundations of Meditation ; Chakra Awareness
This introductory course begins your journey into conscious self-awareness, meditation practice, and embodied spirituality. Students are introduced to foundational concepts that support both personal reflection and emotional well-being, including mindfulness, meditation, and the symbolic framework of the chakra system.
Participants will explore how meditation can support nervous system regulation, present-moment awareness, and a deeper understanding of inner experience. The chakra system is presented as a reflective model for understanding patterns of emotional and energetic awareness within the body.
Through guided practices and discussion, students develop practical meditation skills that can be integrated into daily life.
The course also introduces the perspectives of the contemporary mystic—approaching spirituality as a grounded, compassionate exploration of consciousness and meaning. Emphasis is placed on self-observation, personal insight, and cultivating a balanced relationship between mind, body, and spirit.
Topics and Learning Experiences Include
- Foundational principles of meditation and mindfulness.
- Understanding the chakra system as a framework for self-reflection.
- Gentle exercises for sensing and exploring personal energy awareness.
- Sound-based practices such as toning, chanting, and resonance for meditation.
- The role of attention, intention, and personal perception in shaping experience.
- Exploring the balance between personal choice, inner awareness, and a sense of larger
order in life.
Participants are encouraged to explore these practices at their own pace, with an emphasis on personal choice, emotional safety, and respectful self-inquiry.
AH-02 Emotional Awareness; the Path of Inner Healing
This course explores emotional awareness as an important part of personal well-being and conscious living. Participants are introduced to a psychospiritual perspective that considers the relationship between emotional patterns, personal beliefs, relationships, and spiritual growth.
Students learn how emotions can serve as valuable sources of information about personal needs, boundaries, and life experiences. Through reflective practices and guided discussions, participants explore how to respond to emotions with curiosity and compassion rather than reacting automatically. Emphasis is placed on developing emotional regulation skills, increasing self-
understanding, and creating space for both strengths and challenges within the human experience.
The course also explores how early experiences, family dynamics, and learned patterns may influence our emotional responses and relationships. Participants are encouraged to reflect on these influences in a supportive learning environment, developing greater self-awareness and identifying practical ways to support healthy change in their lives.
Topics and Learning Experiences Include
- Developing skills for recognizing and working with emotional experiences.
- Reflective practices for identifying personal patterns and emotional triggers.
- Exploring forgiveness and self-compassion as tools for emotional integration.
- Understanding the influence of beliefs, affirmations, and inner dialogue.
- Recognizing the relationship between emotional patterns and interpersonal relationships.
- Reflecting on perfectionism and developing healthier expectations for growth.
- Identifying personal goals and creating change in thoughtful, sustainable ways.
- Introduction to family systems concepts and how family patterns may influence behaviour
and relationships.
Participants are encouraged to explore these topics at their own pace with an emphasis on personal choice, emotional safety, and respectful self-reflection.
